Technical Specifications
Waste Equipment Australia manufactures steel bins and skips to suit commercial, industrial and offshore applications across Australia. All bins are built to order and supplied painted with two coats of grey primer. Corporate colour painting is available on request. All orders are manufactured to your exact specifications.
WEA has supplied custom bins to mining operations, agricultural businesses, waste management companies and construction contractors across Australia. If your requirement falls outside our standard range, get in touch with your specs and we’ll work out the best solution for your application.
Front Lift
Available from 1.5m³ to 4.5m³. Manufactured using 3mm steel plate as standard. Custom plate thickness available on request.
Front lift bins are ideal for commercial waste collection and are compatible with standard front lift truck attachments. Available with or without lids.
Skip and Marrel
Available from 1m³ to 12m³. Manufactured using 4mm steel plate as standard. Most models available with a drop-down door. Additional reinforcing applied to bins specified for scrap metal use.
Skip bins suit general construction and demolition waste while marrel bins are designed for hook arm truck collection. Both types are available with flat pack delivery options.
Hook Lift and RORO
Available from 6m³ to 40m³. RORO bins fitted with rear rollers as standard. Manufactured using 4mm, 5mm or 6mm steel plate depending on size and application.
Hook lift bins are suited to large-scale industrial and commercial waste operations. RORO bins roll on and off the truck via a hook and rail system, making them ideal for sites with high waste volumes.
Offshore Rated
Offshore Rated Designed and fabricated to comply with the requirements of Australian Standard EN 12079. Proof load testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection testing available on request.
All offshore rated steel bins and skips are supplied with certification documentation. Suitable for marine, oil and gas, and remote site applications.

Non-standard requirements, custom dimensions or unique project specifications, contact us to discuss your requirements. Design drawings available for all bin types. We can also fabricate to your existing drawings.

Flat Pack Supply
Flat Pack Supply Hook lift steel bins and skips are available flat packed in component form with components welded in place. Custom plate thickness can be specified on flat pack orders.
Flat pack is a cost-effective supply option, particularly suited to bulk orders. Assembly is straightforward with all components pre-welded. Contact us to discuss flat pack pricing and lead times for your requirements.
